Dropbox

Dropbox is a cloud destination with a familiar account login and no IAM setup. You'll need a Dropbox account and a minute for the OAuth flow the first time you connect.

Tusk uses Dropbox's app-folder access. Every file Tusk writes lands under Dropbox / Apps / Tusk / your folder name. You cannot point Tusk at an arbitrary folder elsewhere in your Dropbox. That sandbox is a Dropbox platform limit for this integration, not a Tusk preference.

Multiple Dropbox accounts

When at least one Dropbox account is already saved, the form offers New account and Existing account. Existing accounts appear in a Select Dropbox account dropdown by email. You can use different Dropbox accounts on different projects, or more than one Dropbox destination in the same project.

Folder collisions

Tusk blocks adding a Dropbox destination whose account + folder is already used by another project. It also blocks starting an offload into a Dropbox folder that already contains files from a previous offload session, so two runs do not mix in the same folder. If you need a clean target, pick a new folder name or clear the folder in Dropbox first.

What Tusk writes

Files under Apps/Tusk are ordinary Dropbox files in a folder layout that mirrors your project. There is no proprietary container. You can open them from the Dropbox app or website like any other file in that app folder.

Revoking access

Connected Dropbox accounts appear under Preferences → Saved credentials with your other cloud credentials. You can remove a saved credential there when you no longer want Tusk to use that account.

You can also revoke Tusk from Dropbox itself under your Dropbox account's connected apps settings. Files Tusk already wrote under Apps/Tusk stay in Dropbox until you delete them there.
